Samsung won’t announce Galaxy S8 during MWC

January 23, 2017 By Siddhanth Leave a Comment

Galaxy S7 edge Review

Samsung’s general place of announcing their new Galaxy S flagship phone is in Barcelona around MWC. But this won’t be the case this year as Samsung’s DJ Koh has confirmed to Reuters that customers will have to wait a little longer for the upcoming Galaxy S8.

Rumours and predictions point Samsung won’t miss the April window where its Galaxy S device goes on sale globally but it is the unveiling that is delayed to a date sometime in March.

The delayed announcement is also due to the Galaxy Note’s battery debacle, which Samsung, earlier today, released related information and assured to undergo more stringent tests to ensure avoiding a similar episode.
