Samsung has launched Trips, a new feature in Samsung Wallet that consolidates travel-related bookings, tickets, and itineraries into a single timeline view.
Trips groups eligible items added to Samsung Wallet based on time and location. Supported items include flight itineraries, hotel bookings, car rentals, excursions, and tickets for buses, trains, theme parks, and sporting events. Users can also manually add itinerary items and attach memos for reminders and notes.
As with most Samsung features, Trips too is backed by Samsung Knox, Samsung’s security platform, which uses encryption and biometric authentication to protect user data.
Samsung will release the Trips feature starting this month on compatible Samsung Galaxy phones running Samsung Wallet in South Korea, the US, and the UK.
