Samsung intros IVD-A10A compact blood tester

Samsung IVD-A10A

 

Samsung’s investment in the healthcare business took its first step with the introduction of a blood tester, IVD-A10A. Samsung says their tester is smaller, faster and accurate when compared to a traditional blood checking equipment.

It measures 250×350×250mm in size but is able to check levels of cholesterol, glucose and other items in the blood in just 12 minutes which is a huge improvement considering it takes some time to test the blood samples using the conventional method.

Samsung had earlier confirmed to invest 1.2 trillion won in developing and manufacturing breakthrough medical devices.
