Singapore Telecommunications aka SingTel has confirmed to bring the Galaxy Tab to Singapore. SingTel subscribers will be able to buy one from November 13 or pre-order from tomorrow.
SingTel has tried to customize its Galaxy Tab offering by pre-loading number of apps like De!ite that will allow users to buy and read magazines and share excerpts on social networking sites; AMPed social music service; exCite TV streaming service; access to SingTel’s cloud-enabled OneOffice solution; and Roam Track app that tracks overseas mobile roaming charges.
Galaxy Tab’s hardware features remain the same.
Galaxy Tab will be sold for SG$998 without any contract and will be available on SingTel’s 3G Flexi plans that start SG$39 and go up to SG$95.
