Samsung has announced their version of messaging service called as ChatON. The free service will be showcased at IFA and will go live in September in over 120 countries in 62 languages. Unique thing about ChatON is that it will not only support Samsung bada, Android OS and feature phones but devices on other mobile platforms as well like iOS and BlackBerry. Samsung will also launch a web client that will enable users to share from PC.
ChatON will allow users to have a 1:1 conversation, group chat, group messaging and even share images, videos, voice messages, contacts over the platform.
ChatON will be available in two functionality options. First will be the basic one for feature phones that will support sharing of text, images, calendar, contacts. Other function will be for smartphone users that will add few more features like Interaction Rank that shows how much a user is active on the service, comment on user profiles and Animation message which is nothing but a combination of scribbled text and audio.

who is going to use this when Google+ is out and you can only chat the Samsung users is this why we have not got Video chat on the google talk Through that in the bin and start again
