Microsoft to give away 5000 Samsung Windows 8 tablets

Just as rumored, Microsoft has announced to give Samsung-made tablets at the BUILD conference. 5000 units will be given to the developers that will cost $1099 a pop. This Windows 8-running tablet is packed with some serious hardware like a 2nd generation Intel Core i5 processor, 11.6-inch Super PLS display supporting 1366×768 resolution support, 4GB RAM, 64GB SSD, USB, HDMI port, microSD slot and free 3G from AT&T for a year.
