Galaxy S II

Orange France today announced to sell the contactless version of Galaxy S II that supports NFC (Near Field Communication) technology. Orange will sell the phone in France from next month followed by other European countries.

Orange is the first operator in Europe to offer a SIM-based NFC Android phone that has been developed as per the specifications of French mobile contactless association (AFSCM). These SIMs are the new generation of secure SIM cards that help in contactless mobile services.

On the features front, Galaxy S II is still the same with Android 2.3 OS, dual-core 1.2GHz CPU, 4.27-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 8MP camera with full HD video recording and more.
