Samsung’s power packed Android phone has crossed the iconic sales figure of 10 million units. Samsung confirmed that they’ve sold more than 10 million units of Galaxy S II in about 5 months, making it the fastest selling Samsung device. Previously, the record was held by Samsung’s Star phone (S5230) that crossed the same sales figure in 6 months.
Galaxy S took about 7 months to reach the same milestone.
Region-wise, Samsung has sold 3.6 million Galaxy S IIs in South Korea, 3.4 million in Europe where France, Germany and Russia and other 10 countries contributing to the sales and 2.3 million in Asia.
