It seems the official unveiling of Samsung’s quad-core Exynos is closer than ever since the Korean giant was present at the International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) expo to showcase the powerful chip.
While we don’t have any confirmation, the SoC is believed to be Exynos 4412 that was leaked back in November. Anyways, the said processor boasts four ARM Cortex-A9 cores that has a clock speed varying from 200MHz to 1.5GHz and is manufactured using the 32nm HKMG process.
As for the performance, the chip promises to deliver up to 26 percent better performance compared to a 45nm Exynos chip and battery life improvement of up to 50 percent.
Samsung may announce the Exynos processor at the Mobile World Congress next week.
