Samsung announces Galaxy Note S Pen App Challenge, $205,000 up for grabs

Samsung is known to conduct developer challenges to spark interest amongst their new products and services. This time they’ve announced a challenge for developers to develop apps utilizing the S Pen input.

Developers will have to use to the S Pen SDK that was announced today and create an app implementing the S Pen functionality. Apps will be evaluated on the basis of overall user experience, idea, S Pen integration and implementation.

The challenge runs from today till April 2, followed by a public voting from April 9 to April 16. Winners will be announced the same week and the grand prize winner will walk away with $100,000 in cash followed by $50,000 for second place and $25,000 to the third winner.
