South Korean operator SK Telecom has officially announced the Galaxy S III. It will be the first Korean carrier to release a 3G model in June followed by the LTE variant in July. While we’re trying to confirm the specs of the LTE variant (LTE variant also comes with a quad-core processor), the 3G variant will sport the same 1.4GHz Exynos quad-core processor, 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED Display (1280×720), 8MP and 2MP cameras and software enhancements like S Voice, Smart Stay, Smart Alert etc.
SK Telecom will start taking orders from tomorrow on their T World Shop (limited to 5,000 consumers) and are also giving compensation discounts to Galaxy S and Galaxy S II owners if they swap to the new Galaxy flagship.
UPDATE: KT announces the Galaxy S III LTE variant. Scheduled release in July.
