Samsung has acknowledged the recently leaked Galaxy Player 5.8. Samsung hasn’t unveiled full specs of the device but the Galaxy Player 5.8 comes with a large 5.8-inch 16:9 display along with mDNIe (Mobile Digital Natural Engine). Moreover, the player runs Android 4.0 and features SoundAlive, Bluetooth 4.0, front speakers, Wi-Fi, ChatON, 2500mAh battery and Learning Hub that will include content from various South Korean content providers.
There’s no word on the pricing or availability but Samsung plans to initiate marketing activities related to the player from next month.
UPDATE: Samsung has revealed more specs of the device. The media player features 5.8-inch TFT-LCD with qHD (960×540) resolution, 3MP camera, 16 or 32GB internal memory, microSD card slot supporting up to 32GB.

Any news on release date? I really like this one! Same specs as my galaxy tab 2 7.0, but possible to fit in a pocket. And Galaxy note is too expensive although desirable.
