Companies have started rolling out smartphones with full HD displays and it seems Samsung won’t be far behind, if the report by Asiae is to be believed. Despite some technical difficulties, Samsung has managed to develop a 4.99-inch full HD AMOLED display and will make its way first to the Galaxy S IV.
The display’s pixel-per-inch (ppi) will come to around 441, which will be more sharper than the ppi of the current iPhone.
Samsung will initiate mass production of the display in Q1 2013 and is rumored to exhibit the display at CES 2013.
