Samsung and LG to settle display patent litigation

February 4, 2013 By kunal Leave a Comment

Samsung Display and LG Display who’ve been waging a legal war in South Korea will try and settle their ongoing patent litigation through negotiation. This piece of info comes after executives from both Samsung Display and LG Display met in a hotel and decided to resolve the issues. According to Samsung’s Kim Ki-nam, they’ll try to resolve the litigation “one by one.”

Samsung has sued LG for infringing OLED and PLS display patents whereas LG alleges Samsung to infringe their OLED patents.
