Galaxy Discover to launch in US without TouchWiz UI

February 6, 2013 By kunal 1 Comment

Galaxy Discover

Samsung has tried to distinguish its Galaxy range from the rest of the crowd by integrating a TouchWiz overlay. However, Samsung will let go off TouchWiz when they release the Galaxy Discover for Net10 and Straight Talk. Although it will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, Samsung won’t plaster its customised user interface and will allow users to enjoy vanilla Android experience.

As for the hardware, Galaxy Discover will have an 800MHz Qualcomm processor along with 3.5-inch HVGA display, 3MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 2.7GB internal memory, microSD card slot supporting up to 32GB and 1300mAh battery.

There’s no word on the price but given the mediocre specs, it won’t cost much.
