At the 2013 Samsung Forum in India, Samsung unveiled the recently announced Galaxy Note 8.0 as Galaxy Note 510 for the Indian market. As mentioned before, the new Galaxy Note 510 sits between the Galaxy Note II and the Galaxy Note 10.1 and features an 8-inch display with 1280×800 resolution. In addition to that, the tablet is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1.6 GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, Android 4.1.2 OS, 5MP rear-facing and 1.3MP front-facing cameras, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G with voice calling support, 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot, S Pen support and 4600mAh battery.
The Galaxy Note 510 also supports Samsung software enhancements like the Air View, Popup Play, ChatON 2.0, variety of motion features, Direct Call, Allshare etc.
Samsung didn’t divulge the pricing but expect the tablet to hit the Indian shelves somewhere around end of March and April.
