Apparent Galaxy S IV screenshots reveal Smart Scroll and Smart Pause [Updated]

Smart Scroll

UPDATE: Looks like we’ve got another rebuttal. SamMobile now says the below mentioned features were from the leaked Android 4.2.1 Galaxy S III ROM and not Galaxy S IV. However, these features could be on the Galaxy S IV as well.

After the purported leak of Galaxy S IV yesterday that turned out to be fake, we’re apprehensive about anything that is related to the upcoming Samsung device. However, SamMobile has got some pictorial evidence that corroborates the NYT’s report of Eye Scrolling.

Apparently, the feature will be dubbed as Smart scroll and as you’d expect, the screen will scroll automatically based on the user’s eye movements. If the screenshot is anything to go by, Smart scroll will work on variety of applications like the default browser app, Chrome, Gmail and Samsung’s Email client.

Smart pause also seems to be an interesting feature that will take advantage of the front-facing camera. On detecting a head movement, the video app will pause the video when the head is moved away.

Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S IV on March 14 in New York.
