Samsung’s recently announced Galaxy S4 Active will be available in the United States as early as next week as AT&T has confirmed they’ll sell the waterproof Galaxy S4 Active from June 21. Priced at $199.99 on a two-year contract, the Galaxy S4 Active is certified with IP67 standard, which makes it dustproof and water resistant that even allows users to shoot videos and images underwater with its 8 megapixel camera with the Aqua Mode.
The Galaxy S4 is equipped with a 5-inch full HD TFT LCD and features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 1.9GHz processor, 2GB RAM, front-facing 2 megapixel camera, LTE support, Wi-Fi, IrDA, NFC, Bluetooth, 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot and 2600mAh battery.
On the software side, the phone comes with Android 4.2, WatchON, Smart Scroll, Smart Pause, S Translator, S Health, Air View, Air Gesture and most importantly, is SAFE (Samsung for Enterprise) compliant that makes it more secure to use it in a corporate environment.
AT&T will start taking pre-orders of the device from tomorrow and will release nationwide in United States from June 21. The phone will sell in Urban Gray and Dive Blue colour options.
