Samsung’s first Android-running smartphone with optical zoom has arrived in the Indian market. The Galaxy S4 zoom will sell for Rs. 29,900 and brings in a 16 megapixel CMOS sensor with Xenon flash and 10X optical zoom. The Galaxy S4 zoom’s camera features a ‘Zoom Ring’ that when rotating, will launch the camera app, zoom in/out and even share the image via MMS during a call with the in-call Photo Share.
As far as hardware goes, the phone runs Android 4.2 and boasts a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display (960×540), 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 1.9MP front-facing camera, Smart/Expert shooting modes, S Voice, S Translator, Group Play, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth, A-GPS, 8GB internal memory, microSD card slot and 2330mAh battery.
As a launch offer, consumers will get a free flip cover, interest free EMI and 2GB 3G data for three months from Reliance.
