New screen shots have appeared on the web confirming Samsung’s intentions of launching a faster Galaxy S4 for the international market. The Galaxy S4 LTE-A was announced last month in South Korea but going by the leaked screen shots, it seems Samsung is testing the device to launch in Europe.
Identified as GT-I9506, most features of this new Galaxy S4 variant will remain unchanged except the inclusion of Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz and LTE-A support that will give internet speeds of up to 150Mbps. Samsung currently sells the GT-I9505 variant in the European market and comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 processor.
Samsung also confirmed a new Exynos 5 Octa chip yesterday and given how international markets will get a faster Galaxy S4, Samsung may look to give a similar treatment to customers with faster Exynos 5 Octa chip in regions where the I9500 variant is sold.
