Galaxy Mega 6.3 and Galaxy S4 mini will support Sprint Spark enhanced LTE

Galaxy Mega 6.3 Review

Sprint has confirmed that two Samsung devices – Galaxy Mega 6.3 and the Galaxy S4 mini will take advantage of Sprint Spark technology. Sprint Spark combines three bands of 4G LTE wireless spectrum – 800MHz, 1.9GHz and 2.5GHz by providing continuous data coverage as the device hops between different spectrum bands. Sprint says the switch happens instantly and seamlessly and results in a “more fluid and responsive data experience.”

Both Samsung devices will be available on Sprint from November 8 for $199.99 and $99.99 for the Galaxy Mega and Galaxy S4 mini respectively and will become tri-band enabled after a software update that will be rolled out after the launch.
