Samsung announced the Galaxy Grand 2 last month and they’ve now announced the device for the Indian market. Expected to go on sale in January, Samsung hasn’t revealed the exact price but has confirmed to price it in between Rs. 22,900 to Rs. 24,900.The successor packs in better hardware like a 5.25-inch HD display (1280×720), 1.2GHz quad-core processor along with 1.5GB of RAM and a new soft-touch back like the Galaxy Note 3.
The dual-SIM phone also comes with HSPA+, 8MP main camera and 1.9MP on the front, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS + GLONASS, 8GB internal memory, up to 64GB microSD card slot and 2600mAh battery.
The phone runs Android 4.3, which means it will be compatible with Galaxy Gear and even comes with UI enhancements like S Translator, Story Album, S Travel, Sound & Shot, Group Play, Samsung Hub and Samsung Link. It also has India specific Club Samsung that will bring free streaming of songs, movies for first three months.
