Given the amount of rumours circulating around the Galaxy S5, it’s always good to wait and watch but if you’re looking a bit more credible, Mobile-review.com’s Editor-in-chief, Eldar Murtazin has something for you. Just like last year when Murtazin accurately confirmed the Galaxy S4’s announcement date, he claims Samsung will officially announce the Galaxy S5 on Feb 23 in Barcelona, Spain, a day before the Mobile World Congress.
If true, this will be the second Galaxy S device from Samsung to be announced at the MWC after Galaxy S II. Both the Galaxy S III and Galaxy S4 were announced at a private event in UK and US respectively.
As for the rumoured specs, the Galaxy S5 will supposedly feature a 64-bit processor, a display having a resolution higher than 1080p, 16MP camera, fingerprint scanner and the new user interface that was leaked recently.
