In addition to Galaxy Note 3 Neo, Samsung also announced the Galaxy Grand Neo for the Indian market at the Samsung Forum 2014. The Galaxy Grand Neo is an upgrade from the original Galaxy Grand but is spec’d lower than the recently launched Galaxy Grand 2.
The phone boasts the same 5-inch WVGA display but features an upgraded 1.2GHz quad-core processor. The RAM is same as before – 1GB but Samsung has downgraded the camera megapixel count from 8 to 5. It runs Android 4.3, features 8GB built-in storage with microSD card expansion slot, front-facing VGA camera, dual-SIM support, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 2100mAh battery.
On the software front, the phone supports 12 Indian languages, Pop up Play, Multi Window and lots more.
The phone will go for Rs. 18,450 and will come in White, Midnight Black, Orange and Lime Green and will be bundled with 1GB of 3G data from Vodafone for the first two months is a user activates it before May 31, 2014.
