A new variant of the Galaxy S5 has surfaced, thanks to a few videos uploaded by TK Tech News. It’s the Galaxy S5 Active that brings a more rugged body and physical buttons compared to the Galaxy S5 that is on sale in more than 125 countries.
The prototype device is encased so as to not give away the final design but going by the video, the device looks to be more resistant to water and dust with similar internal specs. This particular variant is meant for AT&T in the US and will have a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display (Galaxy S4 Active had LCD instead of AMOLED), Snaprdragon 801 SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB memory and 16 megapixel camera.
