Samsung is planning to launch a new, improved smartphone next month that will one up Galaxy S5. According to a report by ETNews, the tentatively named Galaxy Alpha will be unveiled next month featuring a metal body and will be a new category from the current Galaxy S series.
The report does not mention the probable specs but claims it will be better than Samsung’s current flagship – Galaxy S5 and will combat Apple’s iPhone 6 that is expected to launch in September.
The announcement, if true, will be surprising because Samsung generally launches two flagship devices in a year – one from the Galaxy S series and another in the second half of the year with Galaxy Note.
