As expected, Samsung has announced the Galaxy Note 4 at its Unpacked event in Berlin, Germany. The Galaxy Note 4 has upped the ante for Samsung with an improved design, hardware and software. The Galaxy Note 4 follows Galaxy Alpha’s design language, which means a premium metal frame surrounds the device along with a soft-textured back. The phone also features a 2.5D glass screen that protects the 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560×1440) Super AMOLED display. Samsung says the display is improved than what we have on the Galaxy Tab S and offers colour reproduction and better viewing angles.
As for the rest of the specs, the Galaxy Note 4 comes with a 2.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor or 1.9GHz + 1.3GHz Exynos Octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n/ac, 32GB internal memory with microSD card slot, 3220mAh battery with Fast Charging and bunch of sensors like proximity, barometer, hall sensor, Finger Scanner, UV, Heart Rate Monitoring.
On the camera side, the Galaxy Note 4 sports an advanced 16 megapixel rear-facing camera with Smart Optical Image Stabilizer that stabilises the image automatically and adjusts the exposure time in dark and has a 3.7 megapixel front-facing camera with f1.9, enabling default 90 degree shooting angle and up to 120 degree wide angle for selfies.
The Galaxy Note 4’s S Pen has also got a boost that tries to emulate a real writing experience with more pressure sensitivity, improved Air Command and Smart Select.
The Galaxy Note 4 will be available in Charcoal Black, Frost White, Bronze Gold, and Blossom Pink from October.
