The rule of thumb for smartphone manufacturers is to bring the latest software update to the best device in the line up and then trickle the goodness to older models. In case of Samsung, it’s the opposite because the company has started rolling out the Android 5.0 update for Galaxy Note 3 before the current Galaxy Note 4 model.
This is of course, good news for Galaxy Note 3 users but also disappointing for Galaxy Note 4 users who were waiting first in line after Samsung opened the software update tap for Galaxy S5.
The N900XXUEBOA6 update is available in Russia for now but should roll out to other regions in the coming weeks.
The update brings an improved version of TouchWiz with a revamped interface, better performance, improved lock screen notifications and lots more.
