Unveiled at the CES last month, Samsung has announced South Korea will be the first market where they’ll sell the SUHD TV. The premium range of TVs will sell in Korea in four sizes – 55-inches, 65-inches, 78-inches and 88-inches with the smallest sized SUHD TV going for 5.49 million won and the largest size going for 7.9 million won.
The JS series SUHD TVs feature a chamfered bezel and textured shirring design at the back to give the TVs a premium look. The curved TVs support 4K UHD resolution and comes with features like Peak Illuminator that enables a deeper contrast with 2.5 times the brightness compared to conventional TVs, colour accuracy, power efficiency with nano-crystal technology and in-built re-mastering engine.
The series is also the first from Samsung to run Tizen with Smart Hub user interface and supports Quick Connect to automatically pair the TV with Bluetooth connected Galaxy devices.
