UPDATE: New picture from a Weibo user showing the front side of the edge device is below.
You’ve seen the Galaxy S7 in a leaked press image but here’s a new picture originating from Vietnam that shows the device in the flesh. Galaxy S7 will undergo few design changes, which includes the reduction of the camera protrusion to match the thickness of the device. While the back in the above image seems to be made out of plastic, this is very much likely due to the various prototypes Samsung floats around to test different materials and keep the final design a secret. However, the frame is said to be made out of magnesium.
As far as other features are concerned, the site claims the new Exynos in the Galaxy S7 is 15 percent better, features a high-end DAC, charge time from 0 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes and battery life comparable to last year’s Galaxy Note phone.
The leak reiterates the reduction in megapixel count but will have an improved f/1.7 Britecell 12 megapixel sensor.
