Samsung’s Gear 360 device that was announced at MWC earlier this year has got a release date and price. In South Korea, at least. The device will be up for pre-sale for 399,300 Korean won and will ship to customers before its actual release date of April 29. Customers purchasing during this period will also receive a Gear VR and a 5100mAh battery pack to make the most out of the VR experience.
Gear 360 is Samsung’s 360-degree camera that is equipped with two fisheye lens with 15 megapixel sensor and allows to capture videos in up to 3840×1920 pixel resolution. The device is also IP53 certified for dust and water resistance and features a microSD card slot supporting up to 128GB.
Users can view the Gear 360 shot video on Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, Galaxy S6 edge+, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 edge and Galaxy S6.
