  CTIA today announced the winners of its fifth annual E-Tech awards. Samsung managed to take away three awards, including the Best in Show by Moment. To quickly recap, Moment is Samsung’s Android device for Sprint and features a 3.2-inch AMOLED screen, sliding QWERTY keyboard, 800MHz CPU, Wi-Fi, 3.2MP camera, GPS and microSD card slot. [...]

Samsung’s official Facebook fan page confirmed that they’re working on a firmware update which will include the much needed kinetic scrolling.   UPDATE: Confirmed. It’s InstinctQ and will be available from November 1 for $179.99 on 2-year contract after $50 instant savings and $100 mail-in-rebate. Pre-registrations begin from today.
