CTIA today announced the winners of its fifth annual E-Tech awards. Samsung managed to take away three awards, including the Best in Show by Moment. To quickly recap, Moment is Samsung’s Android device for Sprint and features a 3.2-inch AMOLED screen, sliding QWERTY keyboard, 800MHz CPU, Wi-Fi, 3.2MP camera, GPS and microSD card slot. [...]
Quick note to all using Symbian-based Omnia HD (I8910 HD) and Android-based Moment devices. Samsung’s official Facebook fan page confirmed that they’re working on a firmware update which will include the much needed kinetic scrolling. UPDATE: Confirmed. It’s InstinctQ and will be available from November 1 for $179.99 on 2-year contract after $50 instant savings and $100 mail-in-rebate. Pre-registrations begin from today. Samsung’s to be announced phone has been official outed as the Moment. It’s not confirmed but given the phone’s description, it should be the long rumored InstinctQ. [...]
