The Korean giant loves to be in the forefront in whatever they do. This time they have unveiled 1.8-inch HDD which packs 160GB of storage capacity. This is the highest capacity available in the Spinpoint N2 series which runs at a convincing 4200 RPM.
No details about the availability and price of this drive but Samsung feels this as a major monetizing opportunity as the 1.8″ HDD market is expected to have a 65% increase by 2010.
