Samsung announced four new prosumer cameras for North America. It includes two entry level SL202 and SL30 and a bit more advanced SL820 and SL620.

There’s also Smart Auto that selects the camera mode automatically depending on the environment and Smart Album that automatically organizes all the images according to date, week, color tone and various other different criterions.

SL820 and SL620 are 12MP cameras with the former boasting a 28-mm wide angle lens while the latter, a standard 35mm lens. Both have 5X optical zoom, 3-inch LCD, dual image stabilizer (optical plus digital) and bunch of photography features taken from SL202.

SL820 is the dominator here because it brings in 720p video recording and HDMI-out for an extra 80 bucks.

SL620 – March 2009, $200
