April 1, 2009 By kunal Leave a Comment

Samsung Mondi

Samsung has announced the Mondi MID which was leaked on Samsung’s page a couple of days back. Mondi comes from a Latin word meaning ‘world’.

The specs remain unchanged from the last time. The MID will use Clearwire’s WiMAX service and Wi-Fi for WiMAX less areas. The device runs Windows Mobile 6.1 and features a sliding QWERTY keyboard, 4.3-inch touchscreen, GPS, 4GB internal memory, Opera 9.5 browser, IM/VoIP/MMS support, Bluetooth 2.0, 3MP camera and HDMI TV out.

Mondi also has an overlay UI (just like TouchWiz) which can be customized with widgets.

It will be released sometime in Q2 2009.
