Samsung is happy with the sales of netbooks. No, not for their own netbooks but for the whole industry because it has led to a surge in Samsung’s external DVD writers. They are reporting a three-fold increase in the sales since the rising sales of netbooks. Though Sammy is all smiles right now, it will be interesting how it would affect when more netbooks will have its own optical drive, pretty much like the Asus one.
