We all know how the netbook screen size standards have evolved from 7 to 9 to 10.1, which now is slowly increasing to 11.6-inches. Apparently, Samsung also doesn’t want to be left behind in the trend and is planning to release an 11.6-inch netbook soon.
The expected release date is unknown but Digitimes’ sources point that Chunghwa Picture Tubes have been given the mantle to manufacture 11.6-inch panels.
The 11.6-inch netbook panel was on display at the Display Taiwan 2009 where the likely deal happened.
