Samsung to target 256GB SSDs at gamers

August 13, 2009 By kunal Leave a Comment

Samsung 256GB SSD

Samsung has announced a 256GB SSD that will be pitched for use in gaming machines. Since gamers tend to have faster processors, better graphics cards and other advanced hardware, Samsung believes SSDs are important too that can reduce game loading times as compared to conventional HDDs and elongate battery life for notebook gamers.

To prove the fruitfulness of gaming with SSDs, Samsung will offer SSD- enabled gaming PCs at the World Cyber Games (WCG) in US that will take place from September 25 to 27 in NYC.
