Samsung introduces ST45 compact point-and-shoot camera

In the midst of dual-screen and powerpacked point-and-shoot cameras, Samsung has dropped a simple ST45 in a slim chassis. The ST45 is a 16mm slim camera that features a 12.2 megapixel sensor, 2.7-inch QVGA screen, sensitivity up to ISO 3200 and digital image stabilization. The camera also integrates Samsung’s Smart Scene Recognition that comes with 11 pre-optimized settings helping user to take a perfect picture. Other features include Frame Guide, Face Detection, Blink Detection, Smile Mode, Beauty Shot and Smart Album.

The camera will be available in late September in color options of Red, Black, Blue and Grey.
