At the ongoing 4G World conference in Chicago, Samsung’s WiMAX enabled Mondi won the Best of 4G Award in the MID category. The award is a recognition towards company’s development, deployment and service of next-generation telecom technology and Mondi is a clear example that takes advantage of the next-gen WiMAX service provided by Clearwire in US.
To give a quick rundown – the SWD-M100 Mondi MID features a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, Windows Mobile 6.1 OS with widgets support, sliding QWERTY keyboard, 3MP camera, GPS, Opera 9.5 browser Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
