The announcements at the Samsung Mobile Solutions Forum are far from over. The Korean company have also acknowledged to ramp up production of 1Gb OneDRAM, Samsung’s fusion memory for mobile handsets.
Introduced first in 2008, the 60nm-based OneDRAM has a speed of 166MHz that easily handles and processes the complex requirements of high-speed networks, 3D graphics, high-definition video and image shooting.
The OneDRAM is a package-on-package solution that comes with a processor, NAND flash or OneNAND that effectively reduced the overall footprint, lowers the power consumption by about 30 percent and increases performance by over 7 times as compared to dual-port RAM platform.
