So we knew M5650 was coming but having no picture or any other specifics, it was difficult to tell how and where the device will be placed in Samsung’s wide portfolio. Thankfully, GSMArena today uncovered couple of product listings revealing M5650 aka Lindy, indicating that M5650 is indeed Corby but a bit higher-end.
On the face of it, M5650 looks very similar to S3650 (Corby) but the M5650 scores on few fronts like an upgraded 3MP camera, 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi (Corby will get it soon), front VGA video camera and dedicated music keys. Interestingly, Lindy’s spec sheet says it has a resistive touchscreen compared to Corby’s capacitive one.
Rest of the features include TouchWiz UI, FM Radio, microSD card slot, Bluetooth, DNSe and quick access to social networking sites.
The Portugal site claims the Lindy is pegged at 149 euros (US$220) whereas there’s no info on price on the Spanish site.
