More bada screenshots (and no multi-task support)

bada-screens

Here are few more screenshots of Samsung’s bada OS. As like the previous time, these screens also hint at touch friendliness. However, it will be interesting to see its responsiveness in real world. Another thing that has come to light is that bada phones won’t support multi-tasking. bada phones support one application policy, which means when a user will launch a bada application, the phone will terminate the running app to initiate the second one.

—Multiple *base application** and one (UI)bada application can run concurrently.—
A **bada application** running on foreground is sent to the background when base applications are launched, such as receiving an incoming voice call, or user switches to home screen.
    *Base applications*:
Stored in the ROM and not removable from the Application manager.
For example, phone idle, contact, camera and player.
    *bada applications**:
    Installable and removable applications.
All 3rd party applications are bada applications.

single-task probably to mantain compatiblity with the simpler kernels from the lower-end phones (that doesnt run linux). Its not a matter to me. I have a Linux phone and I dont use its multitasking features very often. I actually avoid using it indeed.

The screenshots look nice, but maybe too iPhone-ish…
