Samsung Kodak

Kodak has issued a statement saying Samsung has decided to settle the infringing patent dispute and also enter into a cross-license agreement. Samsung will pay Kodak an undisclosed non-refundable payment as part of its future royalty obligations.

Samsung and Kodak are also in talks with U.S. ITC to dismiss the Kodak claims once both parties reach an acceptable cross-licensing agreement.

The U.S. ITC judge recently ruled that Samsung infringed on two Kodak’s camera patent and had the agreement not reached, was supposed to go under scanner by the full commission.
