Omnia HD

Samsung had confirmed the existence of kinetic scrolling in the next Omnia HD update on their Facebook page but now they’ve gone ahead revealing few more details, including the release time frame. UK Omnia HD users will be the first one to receive it in January 2010 with improvements touted to bring faster, smoother multimedia experience.

To be specific, the update will bring enhancements to the webkit browser, improved graphics engine to make multimedia accessibility faster and of course kinetic scrolling.

Users will be able to download the update via PC Studio 7. After UK, the update will be rolled out subsequently to other regions in due time.
