ST5500 that was unveiled a few days back by the FCC will be known as CL80 in the United States. The model number came into light over the weekend when Samsung US published the product page (it’s been taken down now) on the website. However, Samsung claims ST5500 and CL80 are the same but the display differs from the FCC-outed version.
It will have a 14MP Schneider-Kreuznach lens, 7x optical zoom, a 3.7-inches AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 720p video recording (H.264), microSD card slot, dual image stabilizer, HDMI port, instant upload feature and more.
Samsung has not put a price or availability to its name but I’m sure they will do it next week at the CES.
