Kodak and Samsung enter into a cross-licensing agreement

SamsungKodak

Samsung had already settled the issue with Kodak by paying an undisclosed amount towards royalty but now both companies have announced to enter into a cross-licensing agreement, basically allowing each other to access one’s patent portfolio. The key details are obviously kept under wraps but both the companies are upbeat about the outcome.

Kodak and Samsung have jointly requested the U.S. ITC to dismiss the ongoing complaints as well as lawsuits filed in U.S. and German courts.
