Digital cameras were not the only ones shown off at the PMA. Built on the success of its pocketable HD camcorder HMX-U10, Samsung has created HMX-U15 and HMX-U20. Both camcorders are similarly spec’d except for the fact that U20 integrates 3x optical zoom and less megapixel count.
Both can record at full HD resolution at 30fps using H.264 compression and come with HDMI-out and built-in USB connection so as to make sharing easy. Also, these feature a 2-inch LCD, one-touch upload to YoutTube, intelli-studio to edit videos on the go, hyper digital image stabilization and SD/SDHC slot.
As for still images, the U15 is able to shoot it at 14MP whereas U20 can shoot it at 8 or 10MP.
The HMX-U15 and HMX-U20 will sell for $229.99 and $249.99 respectively.
