Samsung just announced two new phones for AT&T. The full touchscreen Sunburst (SGH-A697) and vertical QWERTY slider Strive (SGH-A687) will start selling in AT&T stores from March 21. Sunburst sports a very interesting design, which kind of breaks the mold from the Samsung touchscreen phones we’re used to see offlate. The “sleek, futuristic black and chrome design” phone features a 3-inch resistive touchscreen display, 2MP camera, Bluetooth 2.0, preloaded AT&T services, Smart Unlock, HTML browser with finger zoom and of course quick access to various social networking sites.
Strive on the other hand, tries to follow the Propel family with its full vertical sliding QWERTY keyboard. Its not as good looking as Sunburst but it does come in two colors – black/silver and purple/charcoal to lure consumers. Strive features a 2MP camera, Bluetooth 2.0, e-mail support and bunch of AT&T services including the newly announced group messaging service, AT&T Mobile Share and AT&T Address Book.
Sunburst will cost just $39.99 with a 2-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate whereas Strive will go for $19.99 for a limited time with a 2-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate.
