Samsung has announced SuperSpeed USB 3.0 equipped external drives in its STORY Station portfolio. The new 3.5-inch STORY Station is the fastest STORY Station from Samsung and claims to be 10 times faster than the drives with USB 2.0 interface.
The drive with SuperSpeed USB 3.0 transfers content at a speed of 5Gbps, which means a user can transfer a 4MB file in just 0.02 secs or an HD movie in under 2.3 mins. Additionally, the hard disk is backward compatible, is power efficient and comes with software like Samsung Auto Backup, SecretZone and SafetyKey.
The Samsung STORY Station 3.0 will be available from this month.
